Abstract:  I will first provide a high-level structure discussing how solar geoengineering fits alongside emissions cuts, carbon removal, and adaptation. I will include quantitative results from a new integrated assessment model. I will then burrow down to the details of stratospheric aerosols describing some of the key research needed to reduce uncertainty including details of the SCoPEx field experiment.
