Abstract: In this presentation, induced and triggered seismicity will be reviewed. Relevant earth system and energy production background material will be reviewed and a series of case histories, responses and relevant governmental policies will be presented. While seismicity is an extremely normal part of the earth system, induced seismicity is the direct result of our human activities on the surface (for example dam construction) or our engineering of the subsurface in a variety of significant applications.
